As a Virtual Medical Assistant , you will support US-based doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in their clinical practice. You will also provide various frontline patient services and / or back-office tasks while providing administrative support to the client’s operations when needed.
You will be working closely with your client doctor, their patients, and their on-site clinic staff. A regular workday could include patient scheduling, prescription refills, insurance verification, medical billing, and maintaining patient medical records.
This is a full-time night-shift job, and you will receive full support from our IT Department and your assigned Account Supervisor. Your other responsibilities may include but are not limited to :
- Ensure precise and confidential management of patient records.
- Assist in scheduling and confirming appointments, surgeries, and procedures with efficiency.
- Act as a key communicator between patients, their families, and medical staff, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Handle prescription orders, ensuring timely processing and delivery to patients.
- Provide essential administrative support, including managing correspondence, billing, and verifying insurance information.
- Facilitate telehealth sessions, enhancing communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Stay current with medical terminology, healthcare practices, and industry standards to ensure top-notch service.
Requirements
What You’ll Need to Succeed :Graduate of BS in Nursing or other Allied Health course (Registered or Underboard).Extensive experience in the BPO setting (healthcare account) and hospital / clinical setup is highly preferred.Proficient in English communication (both written and spoken).Willing and able to work fixed night shiftsWhat Makes You Awesome :
