Finance and Rostering Officer
We are seeking a Finance and Rostering Officer to join our team, playing a key role in managing all aspects of 24 / 7 rostering and overall financial integrity. This unique position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial management and a knack for efficient rostering.
Key Responsibilities
Rostering
Manage and adjust rosters using FlowLogic for nine 24 / 7 SIL houses.
Ensure rostering coverage is aligned with client support plans and complies with employment laws and the SCHADS Award.
Consult with Team Leaders to maintain compliance and accuracy.
Payroll & Accounts
Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payment of wages, superannuation, and payroll taxes.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment follow-ups.
Monitor client budgets and funding to ensure invoicing is aligned with their allocations.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Prepare and present financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
Ensure all financial activities comply with Australian financial regulations and standards
Requirements
Minimum Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Strong knowledge of Australian financial compliance, governance, and accounting standards.
Proven experience with Xero and FlowLogic.
High attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in the disability, aged, or community services sector is preferred.
