Job description

Job Title : Sales Executive – Software Solutions

Department : Sales

Location : Makati City (On-Site)

Reports To : Sales Manager / Head of Sales

The Sales Executive – Software Solutions is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This role requires a strong understanding of software products, customer needs, and industry trends. The ideal candidate will be a proactive relationship-builder with the ability to deliver consultative sales, demonstrate product value, and contribute to long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through active lead generation efforts.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer challenges, goals, and solution requirements.

2. Sales Execution

  • Present and sell software solutions to prospective customers using a consultative approach.
  • Conduct product demos in coordination with technical / pre-sales teams.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and solution presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • 3. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing insights on product features, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and high satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and updated customer records in the CRM system.
  • 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing to support campaign execution and lead nurturing.
  • Partner with technical, pre-sales, and engineering teams to deliver accurate solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with finance and legal teams to finalize pricing, contracts, and compliance requirements.
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales within the software or technology industry is REQUIRED.
  • Strong knowledge of software sales cycles (SaaS, cloud, customized solutions).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and articulate business value.
