Hydraulic Mechanic

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Mechanic to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hydraulic schematics, mechanical systems, and safety protocols, and be able to perform both shop and field service work on a variety of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic systems including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, and fittings.

Disassemble and rebuild hydraulic components to manufacturer specifications.

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.

Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Operate testing equipment to troubleshoot and verify hydraulic performance.

Ensure all work is performed safely and complies with company and industry standards.

Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly document all work performed.

Assist with field service calls when needed.

Qualifications : High school diploma

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in hydraulic system repair and maintenance

Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, troubleshooting, and rebuild procedures

Ability to read and understand hydraulic schematics and repair manuals

Familiarity with heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or mobile hydraulic systems

Basic welding and fabrication skills (preferred)

Valid driver’s license; is a plus

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (shop and field)
