Job description

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in general accounting or audit.
  • Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and local tax compliance.
  • Familiarity with government regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, LGU, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality in handling sensitive documents.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.

  • Financial Reporting : Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Record Keeping : Manage and update general ledger accounts, journal entries, and other financial records.
  • Account Reconciliation : Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable / receivable to ensure accuracy.
  • Month / Year-End Close : Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Auditing : Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
  • Compliance : Ensure all financial transactions and documentation comply with internal policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist with preparing budget forecasts and financial projections.
  • Tax and Payments : Help compute taxes and prepare tax returns, and ensure timely bank payments.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions.
  • Confidentiality : Maintain the privacy of all financial records and conduct database backups when necessary.
