Senior Developer / Python Web Scraping

About the role :

The role will be part of an offshore research and analytics team working for a global investment banking

client. The team provides evidence-based research and analytics to client equity analysts to inform

investment debates.

Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree, Computer Science / Information
• Technology, Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Engineering (Others) or equivalent
• At least 4 years programming experience in Python; experience in web scraping is preferred
• Strong foundation in web technologies such as RESTful web services, JavaScript and JSON / XML
• At least 4 years of experience with version control systems; Git is preferred
• Has experience interacting directly with overseas clients
• Worked in an Agile environment a plus
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React or Vue.js is an advantage
• Familiarity with Jira and Jenkins is an advantage
• Good English skills
