Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 45,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots.
What you will be doing
As a Continuous Improvement (Black Belt level) Expert , you will be responsible for executing CI projects and for training and coaching employees and (senior) management across Stolt Tankers, Stolthaven Terminals, Stolt Tank Containers, and Stolt Sea Farm .
Your role, as a change professional, is focused on guiding and supporting the organization in its transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead initiatives aimed at standardizing, improving, and redesigning processes, with a strong focus on sustainable improvements and standardization
Lead initiatives to optimize the total value chain beyond Stolt boundaries, in collaboration with suppliers and customers
Implement Strategic Management, including training and coaching of (senior) leaders
Implement Daily (Performance) Management within cross-functional process teams and hierarchical teams and departments, including training and coaching
Implement Commercial Management at both strategic and operational levels, including training and coaching of employees and leaders
Deliver training (up to Green Belt level) and provide coaching to employees, team leaders, middle managers, and senior leaders on CI methodologies and CI leadership
Coach CI project participants
Provide proactive and on-request feedback to employees and (senior) managers regarding CI activities, CI-related behaviors, and CI leadership styles
Participate in non-CI transformation projects and initiatives as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with an academic level of thinking and working
Lean Black Belt certification
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
At least 4 years of experience as a CI expert
Strong project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and quick decision-making ability
Well-developed training and coaching capabilities
Flexible and reflective, with the ability to adapt to change
Knowledgeable in moderately complex statistical calculations
Able to bring structure to complex or ambiguous situations
Able to give feedback respectfully and constructively
Able to distinguish priorities and focus on what truly matters
Able to motivate and inspire others
Strong awareness of group dynamics, with the ability to intervene at a systemic level
Able to connect with all levels in the organization
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with high levels of uncertainty
Skilled in managing (senior) stakeholders
