Costing Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Cost Estimation & Analysis
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects materials labor and equipment.
• Conduct feasibility studies and financial evaluations of engineering designs.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Develop project budgets and track actual costs against forecasts.
• Identify cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Project Support
• Collaborate with engineering procurement and manufacturing teams to align costs with technical requirements.
• Perform quantity surveys and review construction / production documents.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Generate cost reports dashboards and presentations for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Risk & Compliance
• Assess financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
