Position Title : HR & Payroll Admin Officer

Work Set-up : WFH / Hybrid work

Schedule : 7am – 4pm PHT

Salary : Php35K – Php45K

Holidays : NSW AU Holidays

As an HR & Payroll Admin Officer : You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day to day HR operations, accurate payroll handling, and efficient recruitment coordination. Your ability to manage sensitive information, stay organized, and assist in compliance with Australian HR regulations will be critical to the business. This role blends administrative precision with people operations, helping both current and future employees have a seamless experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION AS AN HR & PAYROLL ADMIN OFFICER

Your Responsibilities as an HR & Payroll Admin Officer :

HR Administration (40%)

  • Manage employee records, contracts, and onboarding documents
  • Utilise HRIS software for onboarding and offboarding such as Employment Hero
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
  • Support performance management documentation and tracking
  • Assist in navigating Australian HR compliance requirements
  • Interpret Industry awards and pay guides for best practice

Recruitment Support (20%)

  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job criteria
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Maintain candidate databases and recruitment records
  • Payroll Support (40%)

  • Process payroll using Xero and manage time tracking via Tanda / Deputy
  • Follow up with managers for leave requests and time sheet approvals
  • Respond to pay related inquiries from employees
  • Interpret Industry Awards, especially Retail and Hospitality
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with Australian payroll regulations
  • Provide reports
  • Qualifications as an HR & Payroll Admin Officer :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or equivalent education
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in HR or recruitment administration role & payroll
  • Familiarity with Australian HR legislation and payroll standards
  • Proficient in using Xero and Tanda / Deputy (or similar payroll / time tracking systems)
  • Experience with Employment Hero or similar HR system
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Tech savvy and organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Discreet with sensitive employee data and communications
  • Autonomous worker who is comfortable to work independently
