We are looking for a Financial Control Manager to lead a high‑performing team responsible for accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting and accounting processes. This role is ideal for a finance leader with strong technical depth, a passion for process excellence, and the ability to influence across functions in a global shared‑services environment.
You will oversee multiple workstreams within Record‑to‑Report Finance function and reporting. As the first line of defense for analysis, documentation quality, and audit readiness, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity for the business.
Position Responsibilities :
Accounting & Reporting
- Manage complex R2R activities, including transaction reviews, documentation quality, and escalation resolution.
- Oversee end‑to‑end period close activities across integrated and non‑integrated systems.
- Review and approve financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions.
- Provide oversight for compensation & benefits accounting and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
- Design and enhance reporting processes, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
- Lead implementation of new or updated accounting standards and ensure alignment with corporate policies.
Cost Management & Planning
Lead cost accounting activities, variance analysis, and cost‑savings initiatives.Govern expense management processes, reconciliations, and control adherence across entities.Process, Controls & Systems
Ensure SOX and policy compliance; maintain consistent audit readiness.Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and operational efficiencies.Serve as business lead for ERP enhancements, UAT cycles, and system integrations.Oversee setup and maintenance of master data structures to ensure reporting integrity.People Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and develop a team of finance professionals; set priorities and manage performance.Foster a culture of accountability, openness, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Represent Finance in governance forums and cross‑functional working groups.Manage multiple projects, risks, and dependencies while ensuring high‑quality deliverables.Influence senior stakeholders by communicating complex topics with clarity and actionable insight.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.7+ years of progressive experience in financial control, accounting operations, and reporting (R2R, P2P, O2C).2–3 years of people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and resource allocation.Proven ability to lead complex accounting transactions, financial reporting, cost analysis, and compliance activities.Advanced knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and regulatory compliance requirements.Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing teams and facilitating high‑performance culture.Advanced communication and interpersonal skills; ability to simplify complex financial concepts and influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated success in standardization, process improvements, and modernization initiatives to drive efficiency and insight.Experience resolving escalations and driving cross‑functional alignment on strategic financial matters.Preferred Qualifications :
CPA or equivalent professional certification required; advanced certifications (e.g., CMA, CFA) preferredStrong command of ERP systems (Infor, SAP, Oracle) and accounting applications; experience with Fieldglass, Ivalua, and reporting tools is an advantage.When you join our team :
