Key Responsibilities
Maintain Financial Records :
Accurately record and organize financial transactions, keeping the general ledger and other accounting records up-to-date.
Reconcile Accounts :
Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Manage Accounts Payable / Receivable :
Process and track invoices, manage payments to suppliers, and assist with collection activities.
Assist with Financial Reporting :
Help prepare financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements), forecasts, and projections.
Support Audits :
Prepare documentation, provide information, and assist with both internal and external auditor requests.
Ensure Compliance :
Ensure all financial activities adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant tax regulations.
Expense Monitoring :
Monitor company expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Payroll Assistance :
Assist with payroll entries and ensure accurate processing of employee wages and salaries.
