Machine Operator

Core Responsibilities :

Machine Setup & Operation :

Set up and adjust machinery according to product specifications to start the manufacturing process.

Production Monitoring :

Operate machines safely and efficiently, closely observing their performance to ensure they meet quality standards and production targets.

Quality Control :

Inspect finished products to identify defects, making necessary adjustments to the machine or process to maintain high quality.

Basic Maintenance & Repairs :

Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on machinery to prevent malfunctions and downtime.

Troubleshooting :

Identify and resolve issues that arise during operation, or escalate them to maintenance teams.

Material Handling :

Load raw materials into machines and unload finished products.

Safety Compliance :

Adhere to all company safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Record Keeping :

Maintain activity logs and prepare performance reports for supervisors.

Required Skills :

Mechanical Aptitude : A good understanding of how machinery works and the ability to perform basic adjustments.

Problem-Solving Skills : The ability to identify issues and find effective solutions quickly.
