Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) – South Asia (Regional Scope : India, GCC, Sri Lanka)

For a large Integrated Resort, Hospitality, Gaming, Retail & Entertainment complex

This is a rare opportunity to shape the commercial engine of a landmark destination resort in one of the world’s most dynamic tourism growth corridors. You will be part of a visionary leadership team, delivering transformative guest experiences and building a globally recognized brand in South Asia.

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead the full commercial strategy for a flagship integrated resort development in South Asia – a destination-scale property encompassing luxury hospitality, gaming, retail, MICE, and entertainment. This multi-vertical property is designed to function as a vibrant city within a city , setting new benchmarks in lifestyle, tourism, and experiential luxury in the region.

The CCO will drive total revenue growth , brand elevation , and market leadership , overseeing all commercial disciplines under a unified strategy. Priority will be given to candidates with recent hands-on experience across India, GCC, and Sri Lanka , particularly those with a background in integrated resorts, hospitality, or adjacent gaming / entertainment sectors .

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Market Positioning

  • Lead the development and execution of a fully integrated commercial strategy across all business verticals : hospitality, gaming, retail, MICE, F&B, and entertainment .
  • Translate the destination’s vision into actionable, data-informed plans with clearly defined revenue, market share, and brand positioning objectives.
  • Establish strong regional partnerships with airlines, OTAs, tour operators, DMCs, and tourism authorities to maximize visibility and conversion across India, GCC, and Sri Lanka .
  • Act as the primary commercial ambassador at trade shows, investor presentations, and high-profile industry events.

Revenue Management & Demand Optimization

  • Drive total revenue management by optimizing pricing, inventory, and channel mix across rooms, casino comps, events, and retail.
  • Implement advanced BI tools and analytics to guide forecasting, segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Govern comp strategies in gaming, ensuring alignment with profitability and business rules.
  • Establish robust KPIs and performance cadences across all commercial functions.
  • Digital, Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Lead the transformation of the property's digital ecosystem, including CRM, paid media, SEO, content, and influencer marketing , with ROI-focused execution.
  • Oversee the development of a compelling brand identity for domestic and international audiences, particularly in high-growth feeder markets (India, China, Southeast Asia).
  • Launch loyalty and personalization programs that drive direct engagement and lifetime value.
  • Elevate guest engagement across digital and social channels, ensuring brand resonance and loyalty.
  • Retail, Leasing & Destination Programming

  • Curate and activate a premium retail environment, blending international brands with localized, experiential concepts.
  • Lead strategic leasing efforts, driving co-branded marketing initiatives and footfall-generation programs.
  • Oversee tenant mix, lease compliance, and performance, aligning with broader commercial goals.
  • Drive destination-wide activation through marquee events, partnerships, and placemaking initiatives.
  • Financial Oversight & Commercial Innovation

  • Deliver top-line revenue and EBITDA targets, while maintaining P&L accountability across all commercial verticals.
  • Identify and scale non-traditional revenue opportunities, such as naming rights, sponsorships, branded experiences , and digital monetization .
  • Build and refine long-term commercial models aligned with ownership, asset management, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Organizational Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing cross-functional commercial team , including sales, revenue, marketing, partnerships, digital, and leasing.
  • Drive a high-performance culture with clear accountability, agility, and innovation at its core.
  • Collaborate effectively with ownership groups, joint-venture partners, and external stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of governance, compliance, DEI , and sustainability within all commercial practices.
  • Key Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of senior commercial leadership experience in hospitality, integrated resorts, gaming, or luxury lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated success operating across India, GCC, and Sri Lanka , with a deep understanding of regional market dynamics and feeder trends.
  • Proven track record of leading multi-vertical commercial strategies with a strong command of total revenue management, pricing, segmentation , and channel governance.
  • Strong distribution network and commercial relationships across OTAs (e.g., MakeMyTrip, TBO), tour operators, MICE planners, and airline partners.
  • Expertise in pre-opening, repositioning, and large-scale team development across diverse functions.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital performance marketing, loyalty ecosystems, and direct-to-consumer platforms.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder environments, including asset managers, joint ventures, and brand partners .
  • Strong governance mindset with fluency in commercial compliance, comp controls, and rate integrity.
