Join our engineering team as a Senior Firmware Engineer , where you’ll design and develop the embedded platform for our next generation of safety products. This role is critical to delivering innovative, self-contained smart components and systems that provide protection and control functionality to electrical systems.

The position offers a fully remote or hybrid working model, with occasional visits to the office in Cadiz.

About The Job

• Embedded Platform Development : Lead the design, development, and qualification of embedded firmware for safety-critical components and systems using 32-bit ARM microcontrollers
• Firmware Architecture : Establish robust firmware architectures for both bare-metal and RTOS-based (FreeRTOS or equivalent) platforms
• Testing & Validation : Develop and execute unit-level and system-level tests; collaborate with QA engineers to build automated, reliable test suites
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with hardware engineers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of firmware into the overall product architecture
• Documentation : Generate comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, to facilitate communication and knowledge
