Overview
This position leads and oversees the activities of entire National Key Account Management Unit. The position is primarily responsible in leading a team of Key Account Managers in the achievement of their monthly and annual objectives in Sales, Forecast, Accounts Receivable (AR), Returns and Customer Call. The position is also responsible in coaching and mentoring as well as ensuring a well-trained and highly motivated team. The position also leads the business development strategies and implementation and ensures that all business partners are catered for and that their needs and expectations are met by the business.
Key Responsibilities
Develops territory-specific growth strategies, collaborates on sales forecasts, and ensures execution of trade marketing and stocking plans with business partners.
Leads a high-performing team through objective setting, training, on-the-job coaching (OJC), and motivational activities, while ensuring timely recruitment and adherence to company values.
Oversees accurate and timely submission of reports (e.g., WER, forecasts), validates team outputs, and maintains organized documentation and company assets.
Builds strong relationships with key decision-makers, supports business presentations, and fosters cross-functional collaboration to drive business development.
Continuously updates and analyzes insights to support organic growth and ensures strategic resource planning and execution.
