Truck Helper

Key Responsibilities

Loading and Unloading : Assist in safely loading and unloading goods, materials, or equipment from the truck.

Securing Cargo : Properly stack, pad, and secure items on the truck to prevent damage during transit.

Navigation : Help the driver find delivery locations using GPS, maps, or by providing directions.

Customer Service : Interact professionally with customers, collect receipts or signatures, and sometimes collect payments from clients.

Record Keeping : Maintain accurate delivery records, complete documentation, and log delivery information.

Vehicle Maintenance : Perform minor routine maintenance, such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and gas.

Safety & Compliance : Adhere to all company safety policies and traffic regulations, and ensure the safe transportation of goods.

Communication : Effectively communicate with the truck driver, dispatchers, and customers to relay information or resolve issues.

Common Skills and Requirements

Physical Stamina : Ability to lift and carry 50 kg items.

Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with the driver and customers.

Customer Service : Strong commitment to providing a positive customer experience.

Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively with the driver and other team members.
