Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Solution Architect provides specialist architecture, design, and implementation experience to support enterprise-wide services and digital projects. This role partners with IT Business Services, Product Managers, Project Managers, and other Architects for portfolio planning and service development. The Solution Architect supports development efforts, ensures adherence to technology governance, and collaborates with other architects to build architectures supporting current and future initiatives. Responsibilities include developing and influencing target architectures, working with vendors, product managers, and architects, and driving service improvements with operational excellence. The role requires a strong technical background, ideally with experience as a senior backend or integration developer or architect. The candidate must prioritize, communicate, and deliver integrated applications and products, with a good understanding of design patterns and architectures. Transitioning from a senior backend or SOA developer into a Solution Architect role will be considered.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• At least 7 years of relevant experience
• Experience in backend or microservices development using Golang, Node.js, Java, C / C++, C#, or similar
• Experience or basic understanding of integration / interface development using SOA platforms such as Kong API, Apigee, Oracle SOA, IBM WebSphere, etc.
• Experience building microservices for REST / GRPC APIs and real-time data streaming services
• Experience in a DevOps culture for hybrid-cloud solutions
• Public Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
• Docker, Kubernetes, GKE experience is a plus
• Languages (any) : GoLang, Node.js, Java, Angular, React, or similar
• Cloud (preferred) : AWS services like S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Cognito, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB
• Ops : Git, Gitlab, CI / CD
• Databases / Caching : SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar RDBMS / NoSQL platforms
