Overview of the role
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing an exceptional dining experience. An individual who has excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. An individual who can manage, train, and motivate the front-of-house team while maintaining strict adherence to service standards, quality control, and operational efficiency.
Key accountabilities
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences by overseeing service standards, handling guest requests, resolving complaints, and maintaining an atmosphere of high quality and professionalism throughout the dining experience.
- Manage the operating equipment and general supplies are well maintained.
- Ensures the service stations are properly staffed and equipped to render service to the guest. This includes proper supplies of glassware, cutlery, chinaware, linen, menu boards, decoration, and centerpieces.
- Foster clear and efficient communication between the front and back-of-house teams. Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure that guest orders are fulfilled correctly, and that service is seamless and timely.
- Does cashiering of all kind of payment methods accepted in the hotel, cash handling, balancing of sales reports.
General Requirements
- Must be a college graduate, with a degree in line with Hospitality Management.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment. And minimum of 3 years' experience as a Captain Waiter or any related position of being a leader.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Knowledgeable of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
- Willingness to work in a flexible schedule, including, evenings, weekends, holidays, and broken shift.
