Director of Sales and Marketing

About the role

We are looking for an exceptional Director of Sales and Marketing to join our team at Discovery Samal (Samal Shores Inc). This is a full-time position based in Samal Davao del Norte. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive growth and increase brand awareness for our premier resort and hospitality business.

What you\'ll be doing

Lead and manage the sales and marketing team to achieve ambitious revenue and occupancy targets

Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, print and other channels to attract new guests and increase brand visibility

Oversee the creation of compelling content, including website, brochures, videos and other marketing materials

Build and nurture relationships with key industry partners, travel agents and online travel platforms

Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities

Monitor and report on the performance of sales and marketing initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement

Collaborate cross-functionally with the operations and customer experience teams to ensure seamless delivery

What we\'re looking for

Minimum 5 years\' experience in a senior sales and marketing role within the hospitality, tourism or luxury goods industry

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing strategies that have driven growth

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels

Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

Creative flair and passion for developing innovative marketing campaigns

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead a high-performing team

Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
