Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Expert to join a 6-month contract in Manila, Philippines, with long-term extensions planned. This position is onsite with a leading technology provider, working via one of the world’s top Cisco Gold Partners. The role focuses on the design, deployment, and support of Cisco Firewall solutions (ASA and FirePOWER) within a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and support Cisco ASA and FirePOWER firewalls
  • Lead migration and integration of firewall / security services into the enterprise environment
  • Provide operational support during and after deployment phases
  • Conduct system testing, tuning, and troubleshooting across firewall / security solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure, seamless project delivery

Skills / Must Have

  • Solid hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Cisco FirePOWER firewalls (design, configuration, deployment, and support)
  • Strong knowledge of network security concepts and enterprise firewall best practices
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex firewall / security issues in large-scale environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience supporting both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Algosec (firewall policy management)
  • Ubika WAF (web application firewall)
  • Forcepoint firewalls
  • Aruba Routing & Switching, including ClearPass
  • Work onsite with a leading Cisco Gold Partner
