Finance Controller (Insurance)

A leading financial services organization is seeking a highly qualified Finance Controller to support the Controllership function and eventually succeed the current Controller. It involves managing accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal controls while leading a team of unit heads.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee accounting operations including General Accounting, Tax, Billing, and Investment / Reinsurance Accounting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across departments
• Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial and regulatory reporting (IFRS 5, IFRS 17)
• Collaborate with auditors, regulators, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Strengthen risk management and internal controls
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadership
• Contribute to long-term financial strategy and operational improvements
