Job Description

Partnering with key areas of the business, such as commercial, technology, or enabling teams, with a focus on performing complex analysis. Support groups with financial forecasting, reporting, consolidation, and ad-hoc analysis. Explain deviations between actual and expected results. Play a key role in uncovering process improvements for the business unit and developing better processes. Participate in projects and initiatives. Interact with team members to provide analytical and problem-solving support, presenting findings and recommendations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for EG.
• Facilitate the preparation of CAPEX and OPEX to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with units to set up plan and budget requirements, control measures, and procedures.
• Support, evaluate, and ensure the implementation of cost-reduction initiatives.
• Conduct regular operations reviews and prepare financial reports and analytics, including monthly data packages.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and keep expenditures within targets.
• Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and technology impacts on the business.
• Handle financial implications of new products, services, and business models proactively.
• Ensure OPEX, CAPEX, and manpower costs stay within budget, with proper processes and policies in place.
• Maintain controls on marketing spending.
• Implement budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring adherence to guidelines and timelines.
• Verify the accuracy and compliance of budget data.
• Monitor budget usage regularly and prepare management reports on variances.
• Manage project budgets, including adjustments and supplemental funding.
• Provide guidance on budgets and policies to other divisions to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance on product costing information.
