Bookkeeper – Multi-Location Medical Practice | Remote | Immediate Start_

Role Name : Bookkeeper

Schedule : Full-time (40 hours per week)

M-F 8-5 PST (with time for lunch) - 8 hours per day.

Client Timezone : Pacific Time (California)

You'll be the financial backbone of a cutting-edge medical practice that's transforming lives through non-invasive brain treatments. This role puts you at the center of a complex, multi-location healthcare business where your QuickBooks expertise will directly impact cash flow management and operational success. You'll handle diverse revenue streams and ensure financial stability for a practice that's making a real difference in patients' lives without medications or surgery.

Responsibilities :

Manage comprehensive QuickBooks Online operations including expense tracking and multi-dimensional account categorization

Process diverse payment methods including wires, checks, and online payment portals with strict cash flow oversight

Categorize revenue streams by type (insurance, cash, attorney settlements) and by location for detailed financial analysis

Handle payroll processing and manage recurring vendor payments on bi-monthly schedules

Set up automated payment reminders and maintain organized financial documentation systems

Generate location-specific financial reports to track operational costs and profitability by site

Monitor account balances and cash flow to prevent payment issues and maintain financial stability

Perform accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation functions across multiple locations

Conduct historical bookkeeping cleanup projects and implement improved financial organization systems

Requirements

QuickBooks Online certification and extensive hands-on experience

Proven experience with multi-location business financial management and complex revenue categorization

Strong background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing

Experience working with international clients, preferably US-based healthcare or service companies

Bonus if you have healthcare or medical practice bookkeeping experience

It helps if you're familiar with insurance billing processes and legal settlement payments

Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
