Basketball Video Editor

Work setup : Full-time, Onsite, based in BGC, Manila

Job Responsibilities :

Responsible for editing, post-production, and creative packaging of basketball-related short videos, highlights, and documentaries—including NBA, PBA, international tournaments, street basketball, and other diverse topics.

Produce highly shareable basketball video content tailored to the style of specific platforms (e.g., TikTok, YouTube), including game recaps, player highlights, tactical breakdowns, and fun mashups.

Independently manage video pacing, add visual effects, subtitles, sound design, and color grading to enhance visual impact.

Track trending basketball events and social media topics to quickly produce timely content.

Participate in content planning and propose innovative video presentation formats (e.g., AI animation, data visualization, etc.).

Job Requirements :

Proficient in video editing software such as Premiere, Final Cut Pro; familiarity with AE / Photoshop is a plus.

Strong understanding of basketball rules, star players, teams, and deep knowledge of basketball culture.

Internet-savvy, with a good grasp of short video platform algorithms and audience preferences (especially YouTube).

Bonus : Basic skills in camera operation and cinematography.

At least 1 year of video editing experience; candidates with sports-related (especially basketball) portfolios are preferred.

Fresh graduates may apply with a portfolio showcasing editing concepts and technical skills.

Passion for basketball and willingness to work overtime during peak seasons (e.g., playoffs, finals).

Strong teamwork and stress management abilities.
