Job Description
The Global QA / QC Coordinator will be responsible for :
- Execute Global Coordination activities (as the strategic backbone for global inspection & expediting contracts—owning end‑to‑end coordination from order receipt through invoicing, harmonizing processes across affiliates, and delivering centralized KPI management, uniform execution, and client experience at scale.
- Serves as the primary interface and escalation authority for contracts managed through the Global Coordination Centre with affiliates and inspectors.
- At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct
Key Accountabilities
Global CoordinationReceive Inspection enquiry – acknowledge receipt to customer / affiliate within 2 working hours and ensure all necessary paperwork and scope clearLoad job into system for allocation to affiliate or for Hub executionFor Affiliate execution – float enquiry to Affiliate to check availability of suitable resourceFor Hub execution - Source inspector from database based on location and priceContact potential inspectors to confirm availability and interest & price acceptance.Prepare Inspector submission documents and quote to customerOn receipt of client approval finalize inspector booking, issue all required documents to inspector (report template, ITP, checklists) & Scope of work & reconfirm booking with client.Report ManagementExpedite receipt of report within customer KPI – Usually 24 / 48 hours.Review to ensure all customer requirements are met before submission.Ensure any urgent NCRs are immediately notified and ensure flash reports are submitted promptly during inspectionRaise any technical queries to Global Coordination Centre Manager or in his absence to Global Technical & Service Delivery Manager for review.Payments & InvoicingConfirm billing quantities and rates and release job for invoicing ensuring it is accurate per agreed Customer templatesFollow up to confirm inspector timesheets and expense sheets prior invoicing and Ensure Payment requests for Inspectors is timely and accurate and in line with customer invoicesContract & Compliance ManagerFacilitate international contracts with clients and internal affiliates in accordance with SGS global procedures and systems.Execute global processes while ensuring accurate record-keeping and data management in compliance with established procedures.Ensure full adherence to the Company’s Code of Integrity & Professional Conduct, aligning with SGS’s Equality & Diversity policy.DigitalEnsure that the relevant execution systems are utilised to full efficiency to support transition from paper to digital. Including all Inspection resources and execution processes.Contribute ideas to enhance efficiency through technology to bring additional efficiencies through technology.Ensures work area in RBS is always kept clean and presentable.Remains familiar with SGS quality assurance procedures.Complies to all SGS health and safety and HR policies and procedures.Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience of working in Inspections and Expediting field.Experience working in EPCs / Owners / Operators required to understand full vendor inspection processTechnical knowledge of Inspection engineering requirements, understanding of key qualifications / certifications and familiar with equipment within the energy sector.Previous experience of sourcing and technically assessing inspectorsPrevious experience in reviewing and summarising contractual requirements to support global execution and deliveryQualifications
Must – Basic management, administration qualificationMust – business grade English language C1Desirable
