Reporting to : Logistics Manager
Role: Temporary (6 months)

This position will remain open until filled.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Able to liaise with Market, GSC, Forwarder, Shipping Line, Customs Team & JTI internal customers on FG, SFG & Spare parts shipment arrangement, booking, and monitoring of movement from factory to port or designated delivery area depending on agreed incoterm
• Communicate availability or creation of LP with Global Logistics prior start of each shipment per lane
• Creates TR, FB prior movement of each shipment, ensuring on time running of FSD in SAP & updating of Project 44 to monitor the movement of cargoes
• Provides weekly forecast to 4PL to secure advance booking with shipping lines
• Utilize MyTower tool to book outbound shipments, communication & updating of shipment status will be done via tool.
• Maintain necessary reports such as Shipment Status, Billing & KPI, to ensure all shipments are being properly monitored ensure availability of Logistics costs dashboard when needed for management review
• Responsible for receiving, recording and checking of all freight billings
• Timely processing of billings of service providers and monitor to fulfill payment to vendor based on payment term in contract
• Supports Logistics Team on reviewing existing process and share ideas on how to improve
• Provides at least 3 innovate suggestions annually
• Perform any other tasks commissioned by the supervisor. Compliance with EHS procedures, labour law, corporate guidance, internal regulations and work performance instructions
• Understand health and safety aspects of their work and learn about potential hazards, know and maintain required control measures in order to keep their workplace healthy and safe
• Develop their competency to do the work healthy and safely, participate in health and safety training and receive appropriate health and safety knowledge and required qualifications, observe and follow safety signs, posters, warning signals, and written directions and instructions
• Know Legal and JTI health and safety requirements associated with the work hazards and comply with all applicable health and safety rules and procedures
• Always demonstrate safe behavior, report incidents and near misses to their supervisor, report identified unsafe conditions and behaviors to their supervisor and eliminate them within their authority and ability to do so

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Customs Administration or any related courses
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience working in an Import/Export/Forwarding environment
• Proficient in MS Windows applications
• Experience with SAP / WMS System or other similar systems experience will be an advantage
