Job Description
- Project Evaluation & Feasibility
Assess proposed water treatment and distribution projects for technical viability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure alignment with applicable regulatory standards.Collaborate with internal teams to align project goals with organizational strategy.Project Leadership & ExecutionLead planning activities including scope definition, budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.
Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction phases to ensure timely and quality delivery.Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining budget and timeline discipline.Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.Stakeholder EngagementAct as the primary liaison for project stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Maintain transparent communication across teams and partners.Build and nurture relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.Team Leadership & CollaborationSupervise cross-functional project teams and external partners.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering and operations staff.Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.Compliance & ReportingEnsure adherence to water treatment regulations and distribution standards.
Prepare and review project documentation and compliance reports.Deliver regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and milestones.Innovation & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to enhance water treatment processes and distribution systems.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices.The Successful Applicant
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (Master's degree preferred).Professional certifications such as PMP or Water Treatment Operator are an advantage.Minimum of 5 years' experience in water infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role.Strong understanding of water treatment technologies, distribution systems, and regulatory frameworks.Proven track record in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.What’s on Offer
