Job Description

  • Project Evaluation & Feasibility

Assess proposed water treatment and distribution projects for technical viability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure alignment with applicable regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align project goals with organizational strategy.
  • Project Leadership & Execution
  • Lead planning activities including scope definition, budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.

  • Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction phases to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining budget and timeline discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the primary liaison for project stakeholders including contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

  • Maintain transparent communication across teams and partners.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key external and internal stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Supervise cross-functional project teams and external partners.

  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering and operations staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
  • Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure adherence to water treatment regulations and distribution standards.

  • Prepare and review project documentation and compliance reports.
  • Deliver regular updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and milestones.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to enhance water treatment processes and distribution systems.

  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • The Successful Applicant

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as PMP or Water Treatment Operator are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in water infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership or project management role.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment technologies, distribution systems, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
