Purpose of the Role :

The primary purpose of the role is to work hand in hand and provide technical assistance to farmers in the MVR documentation. They are the frontline in adherence to the MVR principles and execution of fuelwood sustainability strategies. They are ensuring that the existing fuelwood sources are sustainably managed. They perform other functions as advised.

What You'll Do :

• Conduct Field assessment and MVR compliance monitoring.
• Ensure that farmers adhere to the approved fuel source sustainability strategies.
• Support documentation and Reporting Gather, validate, and submit accurate field data, reports, and updates relevant to the core principles of MVR.
• Field Implementation Support Assist in implementing forestry programs, sustainability initiatives, and corrective measures as needed.

What We're Looking For :

1. Education : Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in Forestry, Agriculture or a related field. Other courses with related work experience may be considered.

2. Experience : With experience in tobacco growing and curing is an advantage.

3. Skills and Knowledge :  Driving motorcycle, interpersonal relationships, especially with farmers, good Negotiation, time management, planning and organizing

4. Licenses : Driver's License (pro or non-pro)
