Schedule : Flexible schedule between 7 : 00 AM and 6 : 00 PM Pacific Time
Lunch Break : 1-hour unpaid lunch
Total Weekly Hours : 40 hours
The Senior Corporate Accounting Manager will oversee the company’s accounting operations related to the general ledger, with a key focus on multi-entity accounting and inter-company reconciliations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP, maintaining strong internal controls, and developing and managing the monthly close process. The Senior Corporate Accounting Manager will supervise two staff accountants, support external audits, and work directly with the CFO to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Oversee preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, allocations, and account reconciliations
Maintain integrity of the general ledger, including intercompany accounts and reconciliations
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members, including workload assignments
Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies while strengthening internal controls
Coordinate with external auditors for annual reviews, including preparation of supporting schedules and documentation
Assist in preparation and review of consolidated financial statements and management reports
Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the close and reporting cycle
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus but not required)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, intercompany accounting, and internal control frameworks
Experience with ERP / accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile large data sets
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across entities and departments
