Know your Project / Team
Project aims to improve the health and nutritional well-being of pregnant women and children under five of age across targeted province(s) in the Philippines and address determinants of stunting in children under five years of age.
The project will strive towards improving the quality of the existing service provision within identified province(s) through service delivery platforms and adopting gender-responsive approaches that address health systems gaps in (i) human resource capacity, (ii) supply chain management of essential nutrition products, (iii) monitoring and accountability processes, (iv) health management information systems and processes including capacity on using data for decision making, (v) program budgetary planning processes along with (vi) approaches towards community behaviour focusing on socio-cultural and gender norms.
About the role
The position holder would provide technical leadership for the development and implementation of a gender- responsive Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) system for the project. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability of high quality program monitoring and reporting data. Including the design and development of data collection tools using digital applications. The role will lead the collation, analysis, harmonization and visualization of program data through dashboards and analytic products for internal and external reports to donor / s, ministries, and other stakeholders. Requirements
About you
You will have a Master’s Degree in statistics / social science / developmental science or other related field with around 7 to 10 years of experience in data management and monitoring information systems with NGOs, and / or UN agencies working on health and / or nutrition programs. Experience in working with the government or familiar with government information systems such as HMIS, DHIS2 will be preferred.
You will come with a proven experience in designing and implementing Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems, including development and revision of Project Measurement Frameworks (PMFs) and monitoring plans.
Excellent English language skill (read, write and speak) is a prerequisite. Fluency in local language is also required.
