This is a remote position.

Schedule :

  • 40 hours / week
  • Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm CT with 1 hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive cleanup and organization of 2024 financial records to establish accurate baseline
  • Lead software transition from Wave Apps to user-friendly accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books)
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records and handle ongoing bookkeeping tasks
  • Support tax preparation processes and generate financial reports for business decision-making
  • Collaborate directly with the business owner on financial matters and strategic planning
  • Gradually expand into general administrative support as bookkeeping systems stabilize
  • Implement efficient processes and systems to support the practice’s continued growth
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management with demonstrated success in similar roles
  • Strong proficiency with modern accounting software, particularly Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books and Wave Apps
  • Experience with software transitions, data migration, and system implementations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial work
  • Strong English communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively
  • Tech-savvy with enthusiasm for learning new administrative systems and processes
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
  • Interest in growing with a business and taking on expanded responsibilities over time
