Head for Retail Electricity Supply (RES) Business
The Head of RES Operations will provide overall leadership and direction for the Retail Electricity Supply (RES) business. This role is accountable for ensuring efficient operations while driving financial performance, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, and organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage power supply mix and customer portfolio management.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that align with corporate priorities, business growth, and sustainability goals.
- Champion innovation, accountability and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply and trading profitability and operational excellence.
- Oversee P&L for RES operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking.
- Ensure cost optimization while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer‑centricity.
- Provide strategic recommendations on investment decisions, capacity expansions, and long‑term asset management plans.
- Provide leadership in managing IEOMOP trading risks.
- Provide leadership in risk mitigation on potential tax issues related to trading operations.
- Build a 500MW pipeline of contestable customers.
Legal, Regulatory & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with all applicable energy regulations at local, regional, and national levels.Collaborate with legal, compliance, and HSE teams to mitigate risks and uphold corporate governance standards.Lead, inspire, and develop people, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.Partner with HR in building a strong leadership pipeline through succession planning, talent development, and capability‑building programs.Drive employee engagement, inclusion, and collaboration to strengthen organizational resilience and adaptability.Stakeholder Management

Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).Technical Knowledge, Special Training, and Work Experience
5+ years of progressive leadership experience in energy, utilities, or RES operations.Proven track record in leading people particularly in RES operations.Strong P&L management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Demonstrated expertise in legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements within the energy sector.Experience in renewable energy operations is highly preferred.Excellent leadership, people management, and organizational development skills.Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities, including government and regulatory engagement.Seniority Level
