Job Description
As a Risk and Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the organisation’s operations, systems,
and processes comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations. You will
perform detailed compliance audits, identify gaps and risks, and support the implementation of control
frameworks that strengthen governance and accountability.
Roles and Responsibilities
Compliance Auditing & Internal Controls
- Conduct end-to-end compliance and internal control reviews across business functions.
- Evaluate processes for compliance with regulatory, policy, and contractual requirements.
- Identify control weaknesses, assess operational and compliance risks, and recommend
corrective actions.
Develop and maintain audit checklists, risk registers, and control testing documentation.Support the design and implementation of effective compliance monitoring frameworks.Regulatory & Risk Oversight
Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on business operations.Support the preparation of regulatory reports and audit responses.Assist in developing compliance training materials and awareness programs.Collaborate with management to track and report remediation progress on audit findings.Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect and analzse operational and compliance performance data.Identify patterns, emerging risks, and compliance trends through quantitative and qualitativeassessment.
Prepare comprehensive reports summarising audit findings, risks, and recommendations.Present findings to stakeholders and provide actionable insights for improvement.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with internal teams to promote a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.Liaise with auditors, regulators, and external partners during compliance assessments.Communicate findings clearly, both verbally and in writing, ensuring transparency and accuracy.Project & Task Management
Manage assigned audit and compliance review projects independently.Support global or ad hoc initiatives related to governance, risk, and compliance improvement.Contribute to the enhancement of compliance methodologies, tools, and reporting processes.Essential Skills & Experience :
1–2 years’ experience in internal auditing, compliance monitoring, or risk management.Background in an auditing firm or a regulated industry is highly desirable.Working knowledge of compliance frameworks, control testing, and risk assessment principles.Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Preferred but not essential :
Exposure to regulatory compliance (e.g., energy, financial services, or utilities sector).Experience in conducting control effectiveness testing and preparing audit reports.Familiarity with compliance management systems or audit tools.
