Job Summary :

We are looking for a results-driven and tech-savvy Technical Sales Engineer to promote and sell technical products or services to businesses and industrial clients. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge with strong interpersonal and sales skills to provide support and solutions before and after the sale.

The role requires a deep understanding of the product and the client’s needs, and often involves working closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned territory or market segment

Understand customer requirements and offer technical solutions tailored to their needs

Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients

Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support

Prepare proposals, quotations, and cost estimates

Collaborate with engineering or product teams for customized solutions

Negotiate contracts and close sales

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business

Monitor market trends and competitor activity

Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts

Attend trade shows, conferences, or client meetings as required

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field)

At least 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, or related roles

Strong understanding of technical products and how they apply to customer needs

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Proficient in preparing technical documents, presentations, and proposals

Willing to travel locally or regionally for client visits or site inspections

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office tools

Preferred (but not required) :

PRC-licensed engineer (for specific industries like electrical / mechanical systems)

Experience in B2B sales in sectors such as manufacturing, construction, power, or HVAC

Knowledge of CAD or technical drawing interpretation

Work Environment :

Field and office-based

Frequent client visits and occasional travel to project sites

Business hours : Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday or overtime work depending on deadlines)
