The Chief Actuary (VP) leads the end-to-end actuarial function for the Company’s life portfolio, providing technical authority on pricing, and risk oversight. Responsibilities
Design and approve pricing bases, profit testing methodologies, and reinsurance structures
Collaborate with Product teams to launch innovative, customer-centric insurance solutionsValuation and Financial ReportingOversee quarterly and annual IFRS 17 valuations, embedded value calculations, and experience investigations
Sign off on actuarial components of financial statements and regulatory returnsActuarial GovernanceMaintain actuarial policies, professional standards, and valuation models
Interface with regulators and external auditors to ensure compliance and transparencyLeadership and Talent DevelopmentBuild and mentor a high-performing actuarial team; foster a culture of continuous learning and succession planning

Qualifications
Professional Status : Fellow of a recognized actuarial organization, accredited by the Insurance Commission (IC)Experience : Minimum 10 years in life insurance actuarial work, with at least 5 years in a leadership or appointed actuary capacityTechnical Expertise : Advanced knowledge of life insurance products, reinsurance structures, and embedded value / IFRS 17 frameworks.
