Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor compliance of the company to various regulatory bodies of the government.
  • To liaise with Philippine Government offices such as DMW, MWO, DOLE, NLRC, OWWA, etc. as required.
  • To handle all legal issues / cases of the company including hearings, conciliation / mediation, etc.
  • Act on issues involving clients / hired workers and concerns within the organization.
  • Resolve employees' issues and handling complaints to protect general interests and update management on outcomes.
  • Review contracts / agreements to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Work with Management or external lawyers in reviewing contracts to ensure commercial, technical and related non-legal terms are properly reviewed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Law or Juris Doctor; Philippine Bar Passer preferred but open to those who have yet to take the bar.
  • Good knowledge of DMW rules / regulations and Labor Law code.
  • At least 3 years of experience handling labor issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication; organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills; proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Background in overseas recruitment agency is preferred but not required.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Makati City.
