Responsibilities

Maintain and monitor compliance of the company to various regulatory bodies of the government.
To liaise with Philippine Government offices such as DMW, MWO, DOLE, NLRC, OWWA, etc. as required.
To handle all legal issues / cases of the company including hearings, conciliation / mediation, etc.
Act on issues involving clients / hired workers and concerns within the organization.
Resolve employees' issues and handling complaints to protect general interests and update management on outcomes.
Review contracts / agreements to ensure adherence to regulations.
Work with Management or external lawyers in reviewing contracts to ensure commercial, technical and related non-legal terms are properly reviewed.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Law or Juris Doctor; Philippine Bar Passer preferred but open to those who have yet to take the bar.

Good knowledge of DMW rules / regulations and Labor Law code.

At least 3 years of experience handling labor issues.

Excellent oral and written communication; organizational and planning skills.

Strong negotiation and analytical skills; proactive and detail-oriented.

Background in overseas recruitment agency is preferred but not required.

Must be willing to work onsite in Makati City.
