We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support digital initiatives and niche applications for our New Zealand business units, where you will collaborate with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams to deliver impactful solutions to our clients.
What Youll Do :
- Act as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for New Zealand niche digital applications.
- Gather, document, and refine technical requirements, flow diagrams, UI mock-ups , and acceptance criteria .
- Work with Agile development teams and third-party vendors to test and validate requirements.
- Collaborate with solution architects and product managers to bridge technical gaps and ensure delivery alignment.
- Support application teams during issue escalations , deployments, and user trainings.
- Ensure technical documentation is updated and aligned with global security standards.
- Participate in testing activities , deployments, and knowledge sharing across the wider Asia-Pacific team.
Your Skills & Experience :
Minimum 3+ years experience in a Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Software Development role.Strong background in modern SDLC , API integrations , and data flow / mapping .Proven ability to produce technical specifications , flow charts , and screen designs .Proficiency with tools like JIRA , Confluence , Visio , and Agile delivery methods.Hands-on experience with :MongoDB and Microsoft SQLModern software development languages (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript)Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWSStrong communication skills able to work effectively across global, virtual teams.Analytical mindset with attention to detail and passion for continuous improvement.Preferred but Not Required :
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.Interest in UI / UX , usability, and digital experiences.Knowledge of modern integration patterns and DevOps environmentsFilipino citizen only residing in the Philippines
