Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day tasks of the property's Engineering and Maintenance function.Ensure effective implementation of the company's standard Preventive Maintenance Program.Ensure all equipment and facilities have proper tagging and provide simple, step‑by‑step guide on how to operate.Prepare Terms of Reference for major Engineering and Maintenance projects.Attend to concerns / complaints of unit owners / tenants and dispense instructions on action to be taken to the Technical Coordinator.Give instructions to the Technical Coordinator regarding work schedule or assignment of technicians, preparation of purchase requests for supplies and materials.Give instructions to the Technical Coordinator regarding engineering supplies and materials needed by the technical team.Adhere to the concern slip process related to the Engineering and Maintenance works.Adhere to the fit‑out and renovation guidelines of the Corporation.Vet fit‑out or renovation plans to ensure adherence to the rules of the Corporation.Recommend and implement an energy conservation program.Evaluate and recommend equipment / service upgrades.Troubleshoot emergency technical situations.Execute the Daily Ocular Inspection Checklist and note observations; endorse to Technical Coordinator if there is action to be taken.Coach and mentor Engineering and Maintenance staff.Ensure cleanliness and pleasing appearance of work areas including proper grooming of the technical staff.Handle the technical team with regard to attendance, performance, and physical appearance.Administer performance evaluation for all technical staff.Establish good rapport and working relationship with the Board / Client representative.Build a personal yet professional relationship with unit owners / tenants.Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.Requirements
Licensed Mechanical Engineer.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.3–5 years of relevant experience.Proficient in Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Configuration Management, and Process Improvements.Ability to work in office and field settings, varying temperatures, potential hazards in electrical systems.Detail‑oriented, analytical, strong problem‑solver, teamwork‑oriented, and adaptable.Seniority level
