We are looking for an experienced Head Cook who specializes in Filipino cuisine, particularly in preparing high-quality inihaw dishes. This role requires strong leadership in the kitchen and excellent cooking skills.
Responsibilities :
- Lead daily kitchen operations and supervise kitchen staff
- Prepare, cook, and develop Filipino dishes, with focus on inihaw and grilled specialties
- Manage recipe standards, portion control, and food presentation
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, safety, and adherence to food sanitation guidelines
- Monitor inventory, manage supplies, and coordinate with management for replenishment
- Train and guide kitchen team to maintain consistent food quality
- Maintain efficiency during peak hours and ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications :
Proven experience as a Head Cook, Cook, or similar roleStrong background in Filipino cuisine; expertise in grilling / inihaw is a plusAbility to lead and mentor kitchen staffWith good organizational and time-management skillsCan work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentReliable, responsible, and a team playerWilling to work 6-day workweek with a broken shift schedule.Job Type : Full-time
