Job descriptionReview and analyze medical records and documentation to assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes. Ensure coding is accurate and in compliance with federal regulations and payer guidelines. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding queries. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, reimbursement policies, and regulatory changes. Assist in audits, data analysis, and reporting as needed. Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks established by the department. Protect the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
Qualification :
- Must have 2 years experience in medical coding
- Certified Professional Coder (AHIMA or AAPC approved)
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Willing to work onsite
