About This Role :
As the Ecommerce Operations Analyst, you will be the backbone of our online storefront, owning product catalog accuracy, monitoring site performance, and unlocking insights that drive merchandising and customer experience decisions. You’ll launch products with precision, QA the site experience across devices, and ensure seamless product data flow across Shopify and connected sales channels. At the same time, you’ll leverage analytics to dissect customer behavior, funnel performance, and merchandising effectiveness, surfacing insights that guide marketing, planning, and product strategies.
This role combines detail-oriented site operations with a data-driven mindset, ensuring our customers have a frictionless shopping journey and our teams have the insights needed to grow revenue.
Key Responsibilities :
Launch new products with correct SKUs, descriptions, imagery, tags, size guides, etc.
Ensure data syncs properly across Shopify and any connected sales channels.
Maintain accurate product metadata, taxonomy, and variant information.
Assign and manage cross-sells and upsells to maximize attachment rate and AOV.
Perform daily / weekly QA : check product / category pages, navigation, search, checkout, and mobile / desktop experiences; escalate bugs or UX issues.
Analyze funnel performance (traffic checkout) to identify drop-offs, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Generate customer insights to support retention and targeting strategies, incorporating data such as purchase frequency, product mix, lifetime value, and acquisition source.
Evaluate cross-sell and upsell effectiveness; measure attachment rates, bundling, and retention impact.
Provide weekly site health reports (e.g., top-performing pages, search queries, navigation drop-offs).
Collaborate on A / B testing and CRO initiatives focused on product pages, checkout, upsells, and merchandising tactics.
Audit tagging, taxonomy, and data structure to ensure clean, reliable reporting.
Answer ad-hoc business questions from merchandising, planning, and marketing teams.
Build and maintain dashboards in Shopify, GA4, Excel / Sheets, or BI tools (Looker Studio, Tableau).
Create standardized reports for leadership and merchandising teams.
Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and automated where possible.

Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, site operations, and / or ecommerce analytics.
Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 / C2 level).
Deep experience with Shopify (ideally Shopify Plus), including expert proficiency with ShopifyQL, reporting, and backend admin (metafields, tagging, etc.)
Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar digital analytics platforms.
Familiar with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
Advanced Excel skills; experience with SQL is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Quick learner who asks questions when needed, and solicits feedback at key points
Superb time management skills. You use your time efficiently and accurately estimate how long it takes you to complete a goal.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Diligent and conscientious about adhering to quality standards.
