WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

CIVIL SUPERVISOR

Job Overview:
Supervise Soil investigations and DSM (Deep Soil Mixing).
Oversee civil works and non-process works carried out by Civil partner on site.
Ensure smooth and timely handovers from Civil to E&M.
Supervise underground network installation under Suez scope on site.

Job duties and responsibilities:
Review and comment Civil partner method statements, procedures, construction sequence, and ITP, and water tightness sequences.
Attend coordination meetings with the Civil partner and protect Suez interests.
Prepare handover plan: handover matrix, zoning plan, handover format, etc.
Ensure proper preparation of Civil partner works for Suez equipment installation (eg. correct plinths for equipment installation, opening dimensions, number, location, access, embedded items such as conduits, grounding, etc).
Prepare trackers and record detailed progress of civil works, productivity, and manpower (m3 of excavation/week, m3 concrete/week, no. of piles, manpower, % water tightness tests, settlement tests, etc).
Review planning and construction sequence of Civil partner, and Civil subcontractor.
Supervise non-process works carried out by Civil partner on site (earthing system, lightning protection, CCTV, HVAC, ventilation, door, louvers, fire fighting, etc).
Prepare documentation for Soil investigate and DSM (Deep Soil Mixing) and supervise subcon at Site.
Monitor Tempfacil preparation.
Coordinate with Civil partner and Logistics for delivery storage area, traffic management plan, etc
Assist in material delivery, storage, inspection as required.
Prepare civil weekly reports and Progress curves.
Conduct design review of Civil guide drawings, structural drawings, architectural drawings, 3D model.
Prepare detailed BOQ of concrete qty, rebars, formworks, etc.
Conduct daily inspections of civil works on site and verify quality compliance with Suez requirements for process buildings and underground networks. Check rebars installation, formworks installation, elevation, alignment and levels, verify survey layout, trenches, site verification of water tightness test, settlement, etc).
Prepare SOR (Site Observation report) or NCR (Non-conformity report) in case of deviation
Prepare Handover Punch list and update on a daily basis
Conduct civil hand over inspection and record punch list.
Supervise installation of underground networks (piping, electrical).
Responsible for the safety of the work and must coordinate with the HSE manager.
Provide guidance to Cadet Engineer.
Assist in coordination with Civil partner for delivery storage area, traffic management plan, etc
Prepare method statements and ITP for underground Piping.
Assist in material delivery, storage, inspection as required
