Betterteam is a profitable SaaS company that helps small businesses hire smarter and faster with a simple Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Our easy-to-use recruitment platform allows companies to post jobs to 100+ boards with one click, manage applicants in a centralized dashboard, and streamline hiring workflows without the complexity of traditional HR software. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Sales Associate with outbound calling and account management experience to drive new customer acquisition and ensure ongoing success for our users.
About the Role :
This role combines outbound sales with a touch of account management. You’ll be reaching out to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across our target markets (e.g., the US and Canada), introducing them to Betterteam, and showing how our platform can simplify their hiring process. You’ll also nurture relationships with new customers to improve activation, retention, and upsells. What you’ll do : Outbound Sales :
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to small business owners, HR managers, and recruiters.
- Qualify leads by understanding their hiring needs and positioning Betterteam’s value proposition.
- Guide prospects through our free trial and convert them into paying subscribers.
Account Management :
Support and retain new customers during onboarding and early usage.Provide product support and training to ensure full adoption of Betterteam’s features.Identify upsell opportunities (upgrades, additional postings, extended plans).Monitor customer health and proactively re-engage inactive or churn-risk users.Collaborate with Customer Support and Product teams to resolve user issues and share feedback.What makes you a great fit :
2+ years of B2B outbound or inside sales experience, ideally in a SaaS or HR / recruitment tech environment.Experience managing or supporting customer accounts post-sale.Excellent English communication skills with a professional, consultative approach.Familiarity with Zendesk, Intercom, and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, etc.).Previous experience selling to SMBs, recruiters, or HR teams is a big plus.Self-starter with strong organizational and follow-up skills.A genuine passion for helping businesses hire better.Why this Sales Associate role beats your current one :
