Job Title : Head of Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics

Role Overview

The Head of BI and Analytics is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing BDO’s data strategy to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position oversees the development, implementation, and optimization of BI tools, analytics frameworks, and data governance policies to ensure actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement a comprehensive BI and Analytics strategy aligned with BDO’s business objectives.

Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making across all business units.

Define KPIs and performance metrics to measure organizational success.

Data Governance & Compliance

Establish and enforce data governance policies ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Oversee data warehouse architecture and integration with enterprise systems.

Team Management

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing BI and Analytics team, including data analysts, engineers, and data scientists.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Analytics & Insights

Translate complex data sets into actionable insights for senior leadership and business units.

Oversee the design and deployment of dashboards, reports, and predictive models.

Support advanced analytics initiatives, including AI and machine learning applications.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver solutions.

Act as a key advisor to executives on leveraging data for strategic decisions.

Technology & Tools

Evaluate, select, and manage BI platforms and analytics tools.

Ensure scalability and efficiency of BI infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field.

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and data warehousing technologies.

Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, and big data platforms.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Knowledge of banking and financial services industry is highly preferred.
