CBS is looking for a highly experienced Sr Wet Utilities Engineer to join our innovative team. In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading the design, analysis, and management of wet utility systems, including water distribution, wastewater management, and stormwater systems. You will work alongside project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise in hydraulic analysis and design will be instrumental in developing efficient and sustainable solutions for various infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of wet utility projects from conceptual stages through to completion.
- Perform complex hydraulic analyses and modeling to inform design decisions.
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, and specifications in alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding wet utilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align project goals and technical requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in wet utilities engineering.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve wet utility systems and operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.A minimum of 10 years of experience in wet utilities engineering with a proven record of successful project delivery.Expertise in hydraulic modeling software and utilities design applications.Strong knowledge of regulations, standards, and environmental considerations related to wet utilities.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities to facilitate projects and mentor team members.Professional Engineering license (PE) is highly preferred.
