2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

  • Inspection :

Regularly inspect trucks, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems, for proper performance and to identify potential problems.

  • Maintenance :

    • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, and brake inspections.

  • Diagnosis :

    • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical faults.

  • Repair :

    • Repair or replace faulty parts, perform major repairs on engines and transmissions, and fabricate or repair damaged components.

  • Documentation :

    • Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all maintenance and repairs performed.

  • Safety :

    • Adhere to company and industry safety protocols, and report any damage or faulty equipment to management.

  • Collaboration :

    • Work with other mechanics and communicate effectively with drivers and fleet managers regarding vehicle issues.
