Sr. Scrum Master (Remote)

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will support our Engineering Scrum Teams and help the company build high-impact software and features that deliver value to our customers. You will be responsible for keeping our scrum teams focused by guiding them, helping clear their blockers and ensuring that they have what they need to be successful in what they do.

Your responsibilities include:

• Facilitating effective communication among team members
• Keeping all parties on track and informed of project progress
• Providing timely feedback to stakeholders
• Championing agile values, principles, and practices within the organization
• Onboarding, train, and mentor scrum team members
• Facilitating scrum ceremonies, including stand-up meetings, sprint meetings, retrospectives, etc.
• Helping Product Owners refine, arrange, and optimize product backlogs
• Removing roadblocks that can hinder the progress of teams
• Tweaking and adjusting the team’s Agile practices to better facilitate software delivery, as needed
• Coordinating with release planning and deployment activities

Requirements

• At least 5 years as a Scrum Master (or in a similar role)
• Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Agile Scrum Master Certification (we strongly prefer this)
