Job description

As Production Director, Cut & Sewn Knit (stationed in Bangladesh), you will oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in textile production, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and execution of cut & sewn knit products.
Lead and mentor a team of production managers, supervisors, and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure products meet company and industry specifications.
Identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within the production workflow.
Work closely with various teams to align production capabilities with product development timelines.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate raw materials for production.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor regulations in the production facility.

Job Requirements

Certificate in Textile Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in production management, specifically in cut & sewn knit products.

Strong knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and quality standards.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent command of both spoken and written English is a MUST.

Stationed in Bangladesh is a MUST.
