Registered Nurse

Patient Care :

Providing direct patient care, including bedside nursing, hygiene, pre- and post-operative care, and assisting with daily living activities.

Medication Administration :

Administering medications as prescribed by physicians and monitoring patient responses.

Patient Assessment :

Evaluating patients' conditions, monitoring vital signs, and reporting changes to the appropriate healthcare team members.

Patient Education :

Educating patients and their families about illnesses, treatment plans, and preventative care.

Record Keeping :

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs, medications administered, and other relevant information.

Collaboration :

Working with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Wound Care :

Performing and managing wound care, including cleaning, dressing changes, and monitoring for signs of infection.

Emergency Care :

Responding to and managing medical emergencies, providing immediate care and treatment.

Supervision :

Supervising and directing the work of other healthcare professionals, such as licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs).
