Job description

Product PR Lead

  • Define, develop, and track key strategies and KPIs which underpin the company’s business targets.
  • Develop a communications plan including strategy, goals, budget, and tactics for total product marketing.
  • Develop media strategy seeking high-level placements and collaborations in print, broadcast, and online media.
  • Design an influencer marketing plans based on communication objectives of each campaign / product.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting the brand and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.

Implementation

  • Plan different types of public relations activities : creative and traditional initiatives depending on the need of the campaign.
  • Create content plan and schedule for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations, and ensure alignment to brand tone and manner.
  • Select and lock-in KOLs fit to the brand, business objectives, target market, and communications plan.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results per campaign, quarterly, per season, and yearly.
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising on an on-going basis.

    • Relations

  • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media and influencers.
  • Manage major media inquiries and interview requests.
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.

    • Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience in public relations, influencer marketing, and other similar fields.
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Event planning and implementing experience.
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets and influencers.
  • Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in both broadcast and print media interviews.
  • BA / MA degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
